What is more important, the Pakistan cricket team's alleged involvement in match-fixing or the devastating floods which have led to the loss of thousands of lives and the displacement of millions of people?
Obviously the floods are a much higher priority and it is incumbent upon the United Nations and the international community to do all they can to assist.
But in recent days the Western media and the BBC seem to have become more interested in the corruption in cricket scandal.
Cricket is, after all, only a game with a bat and ball and wickets. The Pakistan cricket team's reputation is at stake, but this pales into insignificance compared to the human tragedy of the floods.
