Star's 20p price rise worth every penny

As a journalist and lifelong socialist, I recognise the need to keep up with the times in which the cost of everything for working-class people is forever spiralling upwards.

Papers with massive advertising revenue not only adjust their price but increase their advertising rates. Our paper needs its readers' support - it's the price of a free press.

No other British daily consistently challenges corrupt authority and stands up for the rights of ordinary folk - in all fields of work and life - than the Morning Star. No other daily paper takes on the Establishment better than our own paper.

To raise the opposition to the wrongdoings in British society, we must accept the raise of 20p willingly.
