Israel and the US the real threats to world peace

Something more to the point is the term "closet zionism" which adequately describes what I suspect is the tenor of his letter.

But first, no-one seriously believes Iran is only developing nuclear power for peaceful purposes.

We all know nuclear power is only one step away from potential nuclear weapons and horrific as such a scenario may be, threats will be met with threats.

Secondly, let us remind ourselves that the only country ever to unleash its nuclear weapons was the US - not to win a war already won but to warn the USSR of its awesome might.

Since then, a country as politically unstable as Pakistan has acquired a considerable nuclear arsenal and the US has not said a word.

Neither has the US condemned the vile Saudi government for contemplating going down that same nuclear road.

No no, Washington has had to invent a threat and that threat is Iran, not for its possible nuclear capability but because of its wealth of oil and the fact that it deposed Washington's stooge, the Shah, and most of all because it has not yet learned to say "Uncle."

So, like Yugoslavia, it has to be taught a sharp lesson.

Yet Washington chooses to ignore that the real threat of nuclear armageddon in what we loosely call the Middle East comes not from Iran but from its near neighbour, the nuclear armed zionist state of Israel, Washington's hitman in what I believe to be the most volatile region on earth.

If this pariah state were to feel itself seriously threatened it would not hesitate to blow into the next world not only the Middle East but us as well.
