Samaris create new Iceland saga
A US marine returns from three tours of duty in Iraq to track down an unknown woman whom he believes was his lucky charm in this ridiculous Mills and Boon-style romantic drama.
A rather beefed-up Zac Efron plays the war hero who finds Taylor Schilling's photo buried in the sand in the middle of nowhere in Iraq and then stalks her at her family run local kennel in Louisiana.
Not even a tall, dark and brooding Efron is enough to be able to suspend disbelief in such an anodyne tale.
Blythe Danner is completely wasted as Schilling's grandmother in this romantic drivel based on a Nicholas Sparks novel.
