Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes it is “absolutely ridiculous” to talk about his team as potential Premier League winners.

The Gunners currently top the domestic table following Saturday’s win over Swansea, but Wenger, whose side host Rafa Benitez’s Napoli in the Champions League on Tuesday evening, wants his players to stay grounded for the time being.

The Frenchman has no fresh injury concerns ahead of the visit of the Serie A side, though Czech playmaker Tomas Rosicky is fit again and could return to the squad. “You believe 100 per cent or you don’t believe, so that is how much our belief (in the title) is,” said Wenger, whose side won their Champions League opener against Marseille two weeks ago.
