LAURA PIDCOCK committed to “rebuilding resistance to the Tories” as she urged people to join the People’s Assembly Against Austerity in fighting back.

The former Labour MP, who unexpectedly lost her seat to the Tories last month, pledged to support the Assembly’s call for unity against the Tories, and to renew local campaigns against cuts and austerity.

Ms Pidcock said: “There is real potential here.
