Prioritise school staff for booster jabs, says Scottish Labour

SCOTTISH Labour is calling for eligible school staff to be prioritised for the Covid-19 booster vaccine amid a rise in cases across the country.

The Scottish government is under increased pressure to protect staff after the reopening of classrooms earlier this month.

School workers are to be treated as a priority group for the winter flu vaccine, but with a decision over the Covid-19 jab to be made in the next few days, they are currently not included in any booster programme.
