Second firefighter killed in Canada as country battles worst wildfire season on record
A SECOND firefighter was killed at the weekend in Canada, which is battling its worst season of wildfires on record, authorities have revealed.
The unnamed person died from injuries sustained while fighting a fire near Fort Liars in the Northwest Territories on Saturday.
The firefighter lost his life just days after 19-year-old Devyn Gale was killed while battling flames in British Colombia.
