President Biden to sign executive safeguarding access to abortion and reproductive healthcare
US President Joe Biden speaks at a High School in Cleveland, on July 6, 2022

US President Joe Biden is to sign an executive order offering protection to millions of women in the country who are being denied an abortion, it was revealed today.

The move is the first step of the White House’s battle with the Supreme Court after it last month struck down landmark legislation legalising the essential medical procedure nationwide.

The Court’s ruling has left individual states deciding their own rules on abortion rights.
