Trump takes time out from presiding over Covid-19 disaster to play golf as US death toll closes in on 100,000

US PRESIDENT Donald Trump played golf on Saturday for the first time since the coronavirus pandemic as the death toll in the country neared 100,000.

Trump was seen leaving the White House on Saturday morning in a white polo neck, a baseball cap and black trousers.

Video emerged later of the President cruising around the golf course at his private Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Virginia.
