Khan told to be as good as his word

COMMUNITY groups and trade unions are calling on London Mayor Sadiq Khan to protect the former site of Holloway prison in north London so that it can be used for affordable homes and community facilities.

Bidding is open between now and November 15 for the 10-acre site.

There is space for more than 1,000 flats but little mention has been made of plans to give space to the community.
