AC Milan v Celtic preview: James Forrest to miss San Siro showdown
Hoops lose key player for Champions League opener

Celtic will be without winger James Forrest for Wednesday’s Champions League opener against AC Milan.

Forrest, who has an ongoing sciatica problem, will be absent from the match at the San Siro after falling ill. He had already missed Celtic’s Scottish Premiership win at Hearts on Saturday.

Midfielder Joe Ledley has a groin problem but checked in with the rest of the Hoops squad as did fellow Wales international Adam Matthews, who hobbled off against the Jambos with an ankle injury.
