Craig Bellamy to quit Wales after World Cup qualifiers
Cardiff star to make way for younger generation after World Cup matches, writes Greg Leedham

Craig Bellamy will call time on his Wales career after the World Cup qualifiers against Macedonia and Belgium.

The 34-year-old Cardiff striker had previously said that he could not see himself playing a part in the Euro 2016 qualification campaign, but he had also added that he would be capable of changing his mind.

Next month’s friendly with Finland had been mooted as his final game in a red shirt, but Bellamy will now bow out after next Tuesday’s clash in Brussels.
