JEREMY CORBYN told an audience of trade unionists on Thursday that he would repeal the Tories’ Trade Union Bill should it become law, and introduce a “positive charter” for workers’ rights.
Speaking at a rally against the Bill organised by the Scottish TUC, the Labour leader called for action to “oppose it with every means at our disposal.”
Mr Corbyn warned however that with a Tory majority in the Commons, the Bill is likely to be passed. He pledged to repeal it and set out a positive charter for workers’ rights which “apply from day one of employment.”
