Grieving daughter of infected blood victim tells of how family were left homeless

A GRIEVING daughter has described how her family were turfed out of their home after her father died from contaminated blood.

Lisa Nelson, 47, said they were left destitute after former civil servant Neil Kerr contracted HIV and hepatitis C from infected blood products.

Speaking ahead of the publication of the final report of the infected blood scandal inquiry on May 20, she said that she was 21 when her “wonderful” father died from Aids aged 42 in 2000.
