Staff at Liverpool's Blue Coat School vote to walk out

TEACHERS at the historic The Blue Coat School in Liverpool have overwhelmingly voted for strike action.

Members of The National Education Union (NEU) reported that 93 per cent of its members have voted to walk out over concerns related to transparency, accountability, and leadership within the school.

According to the NEU, staff were plagued by unmanageable workloads, unsatisfactory arrangements for the allocation of work, and ineffective school mechanisms for negotiation and consultation.
