PREDATORS working in Westminster have made it dangerous for young staff in Parliament, a Labour shadow minister warned today, branding the Commons “the most unprofessional workplace” he has ever encountered.

Plymouth Sutton and Devonport MP Luke Pollard said victims are being let down as insiders turn a blind eye to abuse in the heart of politics.

The shadow armed forces minister also slammed the conduct of MPs in the lower chamber, comparing it to a “bear pit where people are deliberately shouted down.”
