Just Stop Oil activists still on top of Queen Elizabeth II Bridge
Environmentalists' campaign to press government to halt all new gas and oil licences continues
Just Stop Oil activists continue their protest for a second day on the Queen Elizabeth II Bridge, which links Kent and Essex and which remains closed for traffic, after it was scaled by two climbers from the group

TWO supporters of Just Stop Oil remained on top of the M25 Dartford crossing today, forcing its closure for well over 24 hours.

The protesters climbed onto the masts of the busy Queen Elizabeth II Bridge, connecting Essex and Kent, at 5am on Monday morning.

The action is part of the Just Stop Oil group’s ongoing campaign of disruption aimed at pressing the government to halt all new gas and oil licences.
