NIGEL FARAGE’S anti-net zero rally has been cancelled by organisers after key speaker Labour MP Graham Stringer pulled out of the event.
The Vote Power Not Poverty rally was scheduled to launch the former Ukip leader’s campaign calling for a referendum on net zero in Bolton on Saturday.
But organisers said the event had been cancelled yesterday following what they called a “wave of abuse, threats and intimidation by people and groups determined to stop any kind of free and democratic discussion.”
