FAR-RIGHT terrorist Darren Osborne was sentenced to a minimum of 43 years in jail today for driving a van into a crowd of Muslims after Ramadan night prayers.
He killed Makram Ali and injured 12 others when he deliberately mowed down worshippers outside two mosques in Finsbury Park last June.
Mr Osborne was convicted yesterday of murder and attempted murder.
Devices found at his family home in Cardiff revealed multiple web searches for far-right material.
Mr Osborne himself told Woolwich Crown Court that he wanted to kill Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn and London Mayor Sadiq Khan.
Mrs Justice Cheema-Grubb told him: “This was a terrorist attack. You intended to kill.”
“Many of [the worshippers] were wearing distinctive Muslim dress,” she added.
“You had found your target. You accelerated the van towards them intending to kill as many people as you could.”
Earlier, it was revealed that he had appeared in court on 33 occasions for 102 offences over 30 years.
Branding Mr Osborne’s attack an “act of terrorism,” a Downing Street spokesperson called on internet companies to go “further and faster” in removing extremist content.
