Britain is Broken, We Can’t Afford the Tories
JOHN REES announces the launch of a nationwide struggle against austerity,coming to all towns and cities suffering from Tory avarice

IF THERE is one thing worse than a lie, its persisting in a lie. And if there is one thing more stupid than persisting in a lie, its persisting in it when everyone else knows it’s a lie.

But this seems to be the Tory strategy over austerity.

Theresa May told this year’s Tory Party conference that austerity was over. She was unlikely to be believed by anyone with a memory long enough to remember that the Tories had said the same thing a year earlier… and the year before that.
