Care Quality Commission workers begin strike in pay dispute

WORKERS at the Care Quality Commission will strike today in a long-running dispute over pay.

Members of Unison, Unite and PCS unions will walk out, including those working in inspection teams and data analysis.

The unions said the strike will also affect the regulator’s call centres, which deal with reports from the public about serious concerns about health services.
